The FWYO wrap the 59th concert season the upcoming few weeks. Those include a final concert of our large ensembles on May 5, a Suzuki group recital on May 8, and the first performance of FWYO Jazz on May 10.
FWYO FINALE - May 5
I.M. Terrell Academy for STEM and VPA
On Sunday, May 5 will be three performances back-to-back at I.M. Terrell Academy for STEM and VPA (1411 I.M. Terrell Cir S, Fort Worth, TX 76102). Those include the following groups.
Part 1 - 1:45 PM - Jr. String Orchestra and Philharmonic Orchestra
Part 2 - 4:45 PM - String Orchestra and FWYO Wind Ensemble
Part 3 - 7:45 PM - The Youth Orchestra Conducted by Dr. Germán Gutiérrez
Joining the FWYO for part 3 will be esteemed conductor Cristobal Soler, who is here to visit with students prior to their performance tour to Spain from June 6-16th!

FWYO Suzuki Group Concert - May 8 - 6:30 PM
FWYO Orchestra Hall
On May 8th at 6:30 PM, the FWYO Suzuki group class concert will take place at FWYO Orchestra Hall (4401 Trail Lake Dr, Fort Worth, TX 76109).
Performances will feature large groups of students from various Suzuki large group classes and ending with an All-Class performance of Suzuki favorites.
Performance is free and open to the public.
FWYO Jazz Pilot Inaugural Concert - May 10 - 7 PM
Kimbell Art Museum - Piano Pavilion Auditorium
On May 10th at 7 PM, the FWYO Jazz Pilot program will present their inaugural concert at Kimbell Art Museum (3333 Camp Bowie Blvd, Fort Worth, TX 76107).
Conducted by Ken Ebo, the FWYO Jazz Pilot Program will feature excemptional young jazz musicians in a big band style performance featuring arrangements by Ebo himself and other jazz standards.
Performance is free and open to the public.
