Celebrating its 50th anniversary, the Fort Worth Youth Orchestra produces more than simply outstanding musicians.

The Fort Worth Youth Orchestra has produced a long line of men and women who went on to distinguished careers as professional musicians. 

In the partnership between the Fort Worth Symphony Orchestra and the Fort Worth Youth Orchestra, the overture is giving way to what could be a glorious second movement.

The two organizations announced Wednesday that they are stepping up collaboration under a program that will include new training and joint performances.
